It is educational robotics for all ages. VEX solutions span all levels of both formal and informal education with accessible, scalable, and affordable solutions. Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups.
4-8 years
The VEX 123 Class is a dynamic and interactive course that introduces students to the exciting world of robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Using the VEX 123 robotics platform, students will explore key concepts in engineering and computer science through hands-on activities in a collaborative and creative setting. Participants will learn to navigate robots with three coding techniques, including block-based programming, assemble their own robots, and tackle problem-solving challenges as a team. This course fosters creativity, teamwork, and a passion for learning, as students bring their robotic creations to life while building a strong foundation in STEM. Note: Students are required to bring a charged iPad or laptop.
8-12 years
Welcome to the VEX GO Robotics year-long class—the ultimate robotics adventure for kids aged 6-14! This program introduces students to the exciting world of VEX Robotics 123 and VEX Robotics GO, where they’ll build robotic configurations, learn coding, and engage in thrilling bot battles. Beyond exploring science and engineering principles, students will develop creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment. Our program fosters autonomy by helping students understand tasks, competence by guiding them to succeed, and a sense of belonging by creating strong group connections. Led by experienced instructors, students will dive into hands-on projects and activities that make learning robotics fun, engaging, and educational. Note: Students are required to bring a charged iPad or laptop to each session.
