Watercolor

Watercolor paints create uniquely beautiful effects that no other medium can match. This versatile art form combines the fluidity of water with vibrant pigments, allowing artists to express themselves through luminous washes, delicate details, and spontaneous blends. In this class, students will learn essential artistic techniques including color theory, layering, water control, perspective, and composition, while developing their fine motor skills and creative confidence. The forgiving nature of watercolor encourages experimentation and helps students develop patience and mindfulness in their artistic practice.

All in one

Try different types of art all in one class! Students get to explore sketching, watercolor painting, clay work, and acrylic painting to discover what they enjoy most. This creative learning experience welcomes both beginners and experienced artists, helping them develop new skills while exploring their artistic interests.

Canvas

Learn to paint on canvas using acrylics! Students develop their creative vision while exploring nature and abstract art through essential painting techniques. As they build confidence, students can progress to painting animals, still life, and human figures. Each artist is encouraged to express their unique ideas and develop their own style while learning the fundamentals of acrylic painting.

Sketching

This class provides age-appropriate drawing lessons on composition, line, shape, form, and shading, enriched with imaginative drawing activities, games, and exercises. We focus on essential materials, processes, and techniques for analyzing subjects and breaking them down into basic shapes using reference lines. Our structured framework helps lay a foundation for finished drawings, enabling students to bring their artwork to life with detail and texture as they progress to more complex subjects!

Ceramics

Discover the joy of creating with clay in our hands-on ceramics classes! Students learn to shape clay by hand and use the pottery wheel while exploring their creativity in a friendly, encouraging space. Our classes welcome all ages – kids, adults, and families – making it perfect for anyone who wants to try this rewarding art form.

Robotics - Vex

VEX Robotics Classes are engaging and hands-on educational course designed to introduce students to the exciting world of robotics and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning. As students master these foundational skills, they’ll be well-prepared to tackle the more complex challenges of VEX IQ’s advanced programming and VEX RC’s sophisticated engineering requirements.
