You will learn drawing as will as the basics of painting with watercolor– controlling the water and colors, how to hold the brush, color mixing, incorporating shape and value. We honor everyone's wishes in this group class and explore together . Can't wait to see what fun subject your child will create at Nili's Art Studio

8-12 years
Discover the vibrant world of watercolor painting in our class for ages 8-12! Young artists will explore techniques like wet-on-wet, layering, and color blending, while learning brush control, color theory, and composition. Through fun projects, they’ll embrace fluidity, transparency, and self-expression, creating stunning artworks and building confidence in a supportive and inspiring environment. Watch their creativity shine with every brushstroke!

Teens
Explore the vibrant world of watercolor painting in our class for teens aged 12-17! Building on techniques taught to ages 8-12, such as wet-on-wet, layering, and color blending, this class introduces advanced methods like dry brush, glazing, lifting, gradation washes, and salt effects. Teens will refine their skills in brush control, color theory, and composition while embracing the fluidity, transparency, and versatility of watercolors. With a focus on self-expression and creativity, this class provides a supportive and inspiring environment for young artists to develop their unique style and confidence.

Adults

Building on the techniques taught to teens aged 12-17, such as wet-on-wet, layering, color blending, dry brush, glazing, and lifting, this class introduces additional advanced methods like negative painting, color mixing for mood, splattering, masking techniques, and wet-on-dry detailing. Adults will explore the artistry of gradation washes, salt effects, and edge control, refining their skills while creating expressive, polished artworks. With a focus on self-expression and advanced creativity, this class offers a supportive and inspiring environment for artists to master their craft and explore their unique style.
